I fell in love with the confluence of shapes, and the interplay of the light and shadows, when looking up at the underside of the main staircase in the Louvre and into the pyramid above.

Borbála Jász, PhD, vice-director of the PH21 Gallery is an art historian. She said she has spent many hours in the Louvre museum and did not recognize these staircases.
