My neighbor calls this little hummingbird "Stanley" and he frequents a tree near my neighbor's patio. Catching a hummingbird at a moment of stillness is a life-goal for many. I was thrilled to see my local hummingbird resting. They are the epitome of seeing the unseen. I had the privilege of spending part of a long afternoon observing him and capturing many of his poses, from a safe and respectful distance with my large zoom lens.
